The Video Duplicating Company (VDC) was an independent optical disc replicator founded in the UK in 1982.
Originally located in Wembley, they moved their manufacturing operation in August 2005 when they purchased the MPO Broadcrest facility in Park Royal, London which was owned by MPO and before that by Broadcrest C.D. Their Wembley operation switched to a warehouse and distribution centre.
In 2010, VDC became the first UK company to install Blu-ray mastering and replication machinery. The company went into istration in December 2014. This was followed by the establishment of a new company, VDC Group Trading Ltd., who would act as a manufacturing broker through Sony DADC.

In addition, VDC Group can be identified and credited based on the combination of matrix number and SID codes listed below, even when not specifically named in the matrix.
Matrix numbers: VDC assigned a 5- or 6-digit matrix number to each disc/glass master it manufactured, sometimes prefixed with an asterisk (*). These numbers appear to be sequential within certain time periods but the sequence was not continuous throughout the company's existence. They can be entered as the catalogue number for LCCN credits.
