Consider adding Artone Gramofoonplaten as 2nd label if it also appears on the release.

When crediting the South African printing company, please use Artone (3).

Founded in 1956 by Dirk Slinger, operated by his sons Casper and Will Slinger, Artone was located from 1957 on in the former Hotel Funckler at Kruisstraat 8-10 in Haarlem, hence the sublabel's name. The company managed to secure many distribution deals with American labels of which one was CBS since 1961 which became the most selling label for Artone in The Netherlands. In 1966 CBS had 50% ownership of Artone and after three more years it owned the company fully, including pressing and printing plant, and was renamed Record Industry.

Artone also had an office in Brussels, Belgium.
