Not to be confused with recording studio Toolhouse Studios in Rotenburg.

In 1996, cutting engineer Djamil Mehtieff relocated his Neumann VMS-70 with SX-74 cutter head to the Toolhouse studios, where he then was cutting lacquers until 2002.

Lacquer cuts can be identified by the following runout etchings:
T I:I (the premaster was transferred without any further mastering -1:1- onto the lacquer)
