First CD manufacturing facility established in the United States.

After incorporating Digital Audio Disc Corporation (Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman) which shut down again on March 31st, 2011. Sony DADC ceased CD production at Terre Haute in early 2018.

The facilities were formally owned by DADC (Digital Audio Disc Corporation) until 2004 when Sony Disc Manufacturing and Sony DADC unified worldwide production under the name Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc.
