Profile:

US shellac label.
This was a 25¢ brand originally produced by the American Record Corporation line following an August 1929 merger, and remained as one of ARC's largest client labels throughout much of the 1930s. Separate race- and country music series were introduced in 1931. The label was finally discontinued in April 1938, along with ARC's remaining dime-store labels.
