EMI 百代

Profile:

EMI label used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and other Chinese-speaking markets in Southeast Asia from the early 1980s, with 百代 being a translation of EMI. When EMI re-opened an office in mainland China in 2001, after leaving in 1948, it was also used on Chinese-originated releases issued by EMI Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. In 2007, EMI sold all its mainland Chinese assets and rights to Push Typhoon.

For the pre-1948 Chinese company please see EMI Ltd. (EMI) and was not intended as a label.
