Profile:

Vinyl pressing & tape duplication plant facility and legal entity based in Leicester, United Kingdom; now dissolved.
Owned and operated by Multiple Sound Distributors Ltd. from 1972 until at least 1987.

Full legal entity name: Multiple Sound Pressings Limited
UK Company number: 01056445
Incorporated: 31 May 1972
Renamed: MSD Holdings Limited, London and later 'M S D Trading Limited'
Dissolved: 31 October 1995

In February 1979, it was announced by Chevron (2) label.
MSP were already manufacturing records and tapes for the K-Tel labels.

In August 1979, MSD purchased the two plants owned by Rediffusion Records, for $1.5m. This would make MSD Ltd.'s pressing division the largest privately owned pressing facility in the market. At this time the Leicester plant was temporarily closed for re-equipping after a fire.

LPs pressed by the plant can be identified by the characteristic double central rings with 28 mm and 32 mm diameters.
