Profile:	Blueprint was founded in 1996 by Outline. The first few releases came in quick succession and immediately had an impact on the techno scene, during an era when dancefloor techno was suffering a drought of fresh artists. A chance meeting led to the second release on the label being Surgeon has also made an appearance. Ruskin also run's Blueprint's sublabel, Coda Records.

As far as UK labels go, B12 takes the lead where Intelligent, atmospheric techno is concerned, but for true UK techno, i.e stripped- down tracky biz, Blueprint remains, erm, the Blueprint. Sh*t hot.

An excellent techno label from the UK where James Ruskin releases most of his stuff. Ruskin's records are always very powerful, dark and industrial, syncopated and very futurist. His latest LP, "Circuit", embodies perfectly what techno should be in the 21st century. An excellent label not to miss, where Oliver Ho also released some great EPs with a tribal edge. TIP!

Monotone, progressive techno. Bass optimized, not too much drums, more synthsounds. Some good artists make good records here, the rest is not so good.
