Hello there,
I'm a songwriter and I'd like to know if any of you can let me have a few good companies' names in Europe who press vinyls.
My new album will be recorded this summer and I need to find a very good company (not so expensive) who allows you to press a maximum of 100 copies.
Thank you -

That's impossible.
The reliably good ones in fact are rather expensive, and usually start at 500 copies, or - when you are lucky - at 300. -

You could probably get 100 CDs done at a modest cost. I've done several runs of CDs and DVDs duplicated, 100 copies each. You would probably have to assemble them also, and have printing done. -

what they actually said was "The reliably good ones in fact are rather expensive, and usually start at 500 copies, or - when you are lucky - at 300." and Seabass has a proven history of quality and care; even for production runs of 100.
What clothdrum probably meant -

Seabass are pretty good, Curvepusher do a lot of their mastering/lac cutting. -

thank you so much for letting me know about Seabass, it's a great news to me. Being an independent artist it is useless to print 300 or 500 vinyls knowing that I'll probably never sell them. !00 copies are a decent amounto for a release party and some friends and if I sell them all I'll press more. -

They also press 100 copies
I wish I knew more factories to make different quotes... -

Search the internet but to be clear, the vast majority of the cost is in the mother stampers' creation. Then pressing 100 or 1,000 copies is the cheap part.

I've used Vinyl De Paris for a run of 300 LPs but the website says that their minimum is 100 units so they might be an option. The quality was very good when I used them.
Vinyl De Paris
Lathe cuts might also be an option if you want even fewer than 100 copies, though they can be expensive as they are individually cut not pressed. -

thanks a lot. I'll check Vinyl de Paris too. -

The plural of vinyl is vinyl not VINYLS. Please make a note of it. -

Evolves or devolves? I didn't ask anyone to do anything. I'm simply trying to enlighten those who need it in the hopes that we as a civilization can't become better. -

Civilzation has way more pressing problems.

Given the somewhat formal tone of your message above, I would avoid the use of the ampersand. :)

This was a good read and I had no idea where the ampersand designation derived from. Now I know.
Carry on. -

The day Discogs forums are formal is the day I decide buying PB&J Monkey Swirl limited vinyl is a good idea. And I bet I can dig up an 18-year-old quote from nik to legitimize the sentiment. But I digress.
