Jan Arnet

Czech bass player, arranger, conductor, producer, writer. Born April 13, 1934 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia). Emigrated in 1965 to West Berlin, smuggling his wife and daughter hidden in a bass drum. In 1966 he moved to the U.S. Among others, he was member of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers 1969–1970.
