Profile:

Italian progressive rock band most famous for their soundtracks for Cherry Five. During the completion of this album, Dario Argento helped bring over the to score his film Profondo Rosso (1975). The band was successful during the late 1970s to early 1980s. After a hiatus, the band reformed to record the soundtrack for Argento's Non Ho Sonno = Sleepless in 2000. Due to disagreements, different fractions and line-ups of the band started to exist.

On December 16, 2009, Goblin announced its dissolution. In Summer, 2010, Claudio Simonetti's Goblin.
