Adam Steffey

Adam Steffey plays mandolin and sings lead and harmony vocals. He has been a part of the bluegrass music scene for over 30 years and has performed, traveled, and recorded with many artists in both the bluegrass and country music scene, including Alison Krauss, Mountain Heart, The Dan Tyminski Band, The Boxcars and the Highland Travelers.
Adam is an in demand recording session musician, mandolin instructor and producer. He has recorded and performed with a variety of acts – some of which are The Boxcars, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Clint Black, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, The Dixie Chicks, Michelle Shocked, Bill Frissell, Ronnie Bowman, Jerry Douglas, The Isaacs, Rhonda Vincent, The Lonesome River Band, The Cox Family, Jim Mills, Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, Ron Block, Mountain Heart, Patty Loveless, and many, many more.
