Jam and Lewis started out in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA funk band Usher.
They have won five Grammys and received the most nominations for Producer of the Year, with 11 nominations, and have received eight ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Awards. They were inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017.
