Muggsy's Gaslighters

The band was formed by Muggsy Sprecher in 1961.

An ensemble of "six experts on their chosen instruments" and rapidly climbed the ladder of popularity in St. Louis' widely-renowned oasis of nightlife called Gaslight Square. It was the musical magnet that "attracts hometown and visiting lovers of Dixieland to The Silver Dollar. The welkin is set to ringing every night in that room by the red-vested Gaslighters."
