Warrel Dane

Warrel Dane (born March 7, 1961 - died December 13, 2017, Sao Paulo, Brazil) was an American singer. He was the lead singer of the progressive metal band Serpent's Knight. Dane was trained for five years as an opera singer and utilized a very broad vocal range, spanning from low to very high notes. His use of very high notes were more prominent in his Sanctuary and Serpent’s Knight days but were still utilized in Nevermore.

Died in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 13th December 2017, of heart failure.
