Seago moved from a career in advertising to songwriting, ing up with schoolfriend Vanity Fare.

Seago eventually ran the publishing arm of RAM Liquid Gold and worked on the dance label "Champion". The man responsible for the English lyrics on cruise-ship holiday favorite 'Y Viva Espana'
