Jukka Nevalainen

Finnish drummer, born April 21, 1978 in Kitee, Finland. He is best known as the former drummer of Nightwish, which he ed in 1997. In August 2014, it was announced that Nevalainen would not be able to take part of Nightwish's eighth album and its subsequent tour due to insomnia. In July 2019, Nevalainen released a statement that although his condition was under control, he is not going to return to the band.

Nevalainen still works with Nightwish behind-the-scenes and is the chairman of Scene Nation, the company that runs the band's affairs and finances.
