Lenny Welch (born Leon Welch on May 31, 1938 in New York City, died 8th April 2025), was an American MOR/pop singer. He grew up in Asbury Park. His first singing was with the Asbury Park High School vocal group, The Markeys.
His biggest hit, a cover version of the big band standard "Since I Fell for You," reached number 3 on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1963.
