The Lions Of Judea

Real Name:

האריות (The Lions)

Profile:

Formed in the end of the year 1966 by the musicians Yehoshua and Chaim Algranati,
The Lions of Judah was one of the most important and successful
groups of the psychedelic Israeli rock between years 1969 and 1974.

Although they never released a full album, they recorded many singles,
with two of them making their way to the British charts:
"Our Love's a Growing Thing" (1969) and "Give Me" (1970).
These two songs and others like "Wheel of love", "Satan, what you want from me?",
"Mary cries help" and the first Israeli reggae hit,
"I've got starshine, I've got love" (1971) were mega-hits in Israel for years.
They also recorded the Hebrew hits "Red phamtom", "You are not good",
"Aphrodite" and "Valley song", which also reached the top of the Israeli charts.

The band is still alive and active, they perform more than 30 years ago.
We hope the historical mistake is corrected
and finally your official album is released.
