Born : June 29, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Member of the rhythm section at Mabon "Teenie" Hodges.
Charles played (and recorded) also with : Al Green, James Carr, Willie Cobbs, Albert Collins, Boz Scaggs and others.
