Herbert Grenzebach

Herbert Grenzebach (* 22. October 1897 in Berlin; † 1. April 1992 on Mallorca) was a German record producer, engineer, manager and composer (as Herbert Borders).
In 1924 he founded "Elektrophon", a small record company for ment records.
On the 8th of September 1929, he became artistic director for at Ultraphon.
In March 1932, Ultraphon was acquired by Telefunken, along with its repertoire and employees, and Grenzebach was working as recording engineer.
In 1950 he became Managing Director of the newly founded TELDEC.
In 1962 he retired and moved to Mallorca.
