David Weston

Bass player from Rome, New York who started playing bass guitar from the age of 12. He also plays keyboards. He was spotted in Augusta by Soul Syndrome. He appeared in a scene with Brown in the Blues Brothers movie.

He owned and ran the Word of Mouth Cafe in Augusta (1992 - 1998) where his band would play most nights. Also celebrities such as James Brown, Grover Washington, Jr. were known to visit the establishment. He is also a member of jazz group Preston and Weston who in.2004, were voted "Best Jazz Band" by readers of Augusta Magazine and "Best Band" by Aiken publication, Easy Street Magazine

He has also been involved in education teaching jazz at seminars and elementary schools. He is also active in the Universal Ministries Christian Fellowship
