John Golden

Mastering and lacquer cutting engineer, based in California, United States.
Vinyl cuts can be identified by 'JG' in the runouts, usually in combination with either Golden Mastering stamps.
When just 'GOLDEN' appears in the runouts, please credit Lacquer Cut At - Golden Mastering.

Not to be confused with his son April Golden, who work as mastering / lacquer cutting engineers at the same studio.

In his early high school days ('60s), John formed a band called Johnny And The Uncalled Four and they released a few 45s. The band played its last gig on October 9th 1965. Three days later John was inducted into the Navy.
