Gary Leonard "Photographer To The Bars"

American photographer based in Los Angeles, he started his career in 1971. Probably best known for his pictures of the late 1970s and early 1980s punk / hardcore scene, though he has also covered politics, city events, architecture, construction and other aspects of Los Angeles. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Rolling Stone Magazine, Interview Magazine, People Magazine, Der Spiegel, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Life Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, The Downtown News, and LA Observed. Leonard has also published several books.
