Tall, thin, jolly, handsome and beautiful, soulful high tenor voiced singer-musician Talmadge Pearsall first started out as the keyboardist and the co-lead singer of Sputzy Sparacino's R&B/Dance/Cover band, Modern Man from 1984 till 1991 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and Sputzy had composed a some songs together in the band. And later he would help co-write "The World Inside Your Eyes" ("Day Of The Dead" (Ballad)) song for George A. Romero's "Day Of The Dead" (1985) horror movie soundtrack with John Harrison, Sputzy himself and Jim Blazer. Talmadge then would another Pittsburgh R&B/Dance/Cover band called The Nation as the lead singer back in the early 90s. They did beautiful covers of Keith Sweat's "Make You Sweat" (1990), Guy's "Let's Chill" (1990), and many more R&B/Dance songs. Then after his times playing with both Modern Man and The Nation, before Talmadge had left Pittsburgh, he then fronted a band called Sleeping Giants. |
