British record company executive. Started as as advertising manager for Transatlantic Records from Granada Group and merged the two businesses. In 1982 started as commercial director and board member of Molinaire plc, then Europe’s largest broadcast, video and audio facilities group. On leaving Molinaire in 1984, returned to the company fulltime.
