Cerrone

French disco-electro songwriter, producer, label manager, arranger and drummer.
Born May 24, 1952 in Vitry-sur-Seine, Paris, .
Father of Jean-Pierre Cerrone.
At age 18 he became musical director of the "Club Mediterranée" vacation clubs / holiday resorts.
In 1972, he formed and led Barclay.
Cerrone went solo in 1976. The same year, he also created the Malligator group that he still manages.
Since then, he has released over 25 solo albums, including soundtracks.
With Frank Farian, Cerrone is amongst the most pivotal figures of the Euro disco sound.
