Arthur Shaftel

American songwriter.
Born June 26, 1910 in Brooklyn, New York.
Died March 20, 2009 (age of 98).
Brother of songwriter Sunny Skylar (Selig Shaftel).
He charted five times as a songwriter on the U.S. charts between 1941-1956), four of the five with his brother. His biggest hit came in 1956 with "Atlanta, GA." by Swing and Sway with Sammy Kaye--it hit #6 (co-written by his brother Sunny).
