Profile:

Underground Rock musician primarily known for his solo guitar work as Plankton Wat, and the band Eternal Tapestry. Mahood began his career in the Chico, CA punk scene starting the hardcore band Empty Offer in 1986. After moving to Portland, OR in 1992, Mahood started the experimental noise band Kino-Eye, and the post-punk band Elephant Factory (with fellow ex-Chico friend Larry Crane of Tape-Op magazine fame). This project brought Mahood a lot of attention releasing albums with seminal labels such as Not Not Fun, Three Lobed, and Thrill Jockey. Mahood has also worked as a bass player with Jackie-O Motherfucker, Abronia, Rose City Band, and ing the singer-songwriter Rosali on two of her European tours.
