My copy has an "H" under MASTERDISK on both sides. ALSO, i might add...both sides has Side One Label!! Any suggestions/ideas what I might have? Thank you! -
ittedly my pressing has seen better days, so I’m not going to comment on the pressing quality (although you can still hear how BIG this album sounds under all the wear and tear). What makes this album so special is how tight and fresh the rhymes and delivery are after 40+ years of hip hop history. It’s joyous and playful and boisterous. These are three musicians and lyricists of the very highest caliber.

Just ended up with a no cover original pressing in VG grade. Must agree with previous post that this has more presence, detail and air compared to my 2022 VMP copy that I got last month. It's not worlds better, and it's possible that the VMP on some tracks has a tiny bit better bass extension, but you can tell the overall quality rules on the original when listening back to back.

Although it’s flimsy vinyl, the sound quality is STELLAR. Compared to my 2019 VMP edition, it sounds much fuller. There seems to be more presence in this press that lacks in the VMP version. The VMP version is super clean on pressed on heavy weight vinyl, but still the mastering for this version compared to that one is impeccable. -
I've got the purple version.
Although vinyl light weight this press sounds incredibly! -
