Pointless.
This is a remake for the sake of it.
Oh that's right.
The 40th Anniversary.
It sounds like it's gonna have a beat of some kind kick in at any second but it never does.
Instead there's all this plate tapping and a steam iron relaxing sounds in a choppy this must be cool style.
Which it isn't.

Question about the labels: my issue has quite the same labels, although the 'stereo' tag is positioned differently than this one (it's placed under 'Victor'. More people who have this pair of labels?

I first came across these 'mixes' on some strange DJ Mix Site that looks legit.
And now that I've managed to hear them...I'm glad I never had to pay.
As they are utterly pointless.
WHY bother to dance-up this track of ALL the ones in his catalogue ?

Not many have the voice to do David Bowie's Heroes justice. Dave Gahan does have the voice. And he sings it (Depeche Mode - Heroes (Highline Sessions Version) released 2017). NME report the 10" clear vinyl issue of the DM cover as an official release.

I'd love a copy of this on vinyl (and the clear vinyl seems run out at the moment) or even on CD - is it on CD? Hopefully this release will be made more widely available.

"Tomorrow marks 40 years since Bowie released the title track from “Heroes” – the second in his acclaimed and so-called ‘Berlin Trilogy’.
